So this is a random one. Impulsively bought some filo pastry and at a loss at what to use it for. As the weather is crap and the dog is poorly today is a perfect day for baking...

So any recommendations on recipes?

Can't go wrong with banana bread. Make it vegan if you want to make it even simpler.

You can use filo in so many ways.

Do yourself a smorgasbord of whatever takes your fancy.

Filo mince twists are delicious at Christmas - make and freeze

There's a delicious chicken and leek pie in one of Joe Wicks books that uses filo pasty. It's quickly become one of our favourite meals.

If I ever have any left over Chinese or Indian takeaway food I make up snack parcels using Filo and give them silly made up names.

If you have any pastry left, it's apple strudel and custard kind of weather. In fact, that's going to be my project for tomorrow.

If you have some steaks, make some mini beef wellingtons.

Or use chicken breasts.
