There is talk of reopening the investigation. Does the Croydon Cat Killer exist?

I dont know if they do.

A good few years ago dogs were being found decapitated local to me.

Headless dogs found in parks and just around. It was pretty grim stuff.

I was hoping this was a joke thread....Sadly not

.Croydon cat killer has its own wickipedia entry.

If they ever catch the vile person they'll get as many as Two slaps on the wrist- that's the trouble -no real deterrent..

Blimey you are right...there is a wikipedia entry for the killer.. if true then this person has been on the loose since 2014 and never caught..

It could be that the killer was in jail for another offence and the cat killings died down and once released then the killer is up to his old tricks..

Unfortunately it is well researched that future murderers often start out when young with cruelty to animals, progressing to ritualistic animal deaths. There are also some horrible damage/ killings happening to horses and sheep that are definitely done by people.

By all accounts the animals are often found in full view of the owners and in the most horrific condition, not just in some random location.

I do hope they are caught and brought to justice

I killed a kitten once, sadly no option, abandoned on a beach in the Cook Islands with a dead sibling near by.

Even paradise can be cruel

Hope they find the person and put him in a very bad way. I'd happily pay a considerable sum for this.

I am not sure the CKC exists. The police opened a file but closed it and put it down to foxes etc.

A person I worked with his car was murder by the Croydon cat killer, he cane into work devastated.

Was absolutely horrific how he found the cat and what had been done. The scene where the cat was found was treated like a crime scene, the cats body examined etc

The police released a statement saying it was a fox, which everyone in the local areas knew was lies, no way could a fox do some of the things that were done.

Such a horrible crime, I’ve not heard anything recently, no idea if still happening or hushed under the carpet

North Bucks

Northampton had their own cat killer who was caught and found guilty receiving a woeful sentence by the courts.

He had moved onto arson and carried out a series of arson attacks.

Result at court 3 years which he hardly served.

I heard about this. I think they should also look for the Manchester Canal Pusher whilst they are at it.

Same thing in our area. Fox mutilated on the pavement and then a couple of months later there was a ritualistic killing and dissection on a gated reservoir. Disgusting

Someone was killing because friend cat went missing then it turned up cut to bits on the doorstep.

She nearly trod on it when we left for work in the morning.

So someone must of known who's cat it was to leave it of the doorstep like that. Bloody awful.

They must be strong ,you try giving a cat a worming tablet.need suit of armour

"Foxes"???

Urban foxes live from rummaging bins & being fed by householders, they would no more go near a dog than a mouse challenges a stoat!

Sounds more like an excuse to close a file.

I think a fox might pick off a vulnerable older cat but I am no expert but in the same way that an older vulnerable fox could be picked off by a feral cat or wild lynx
