Is it just me or you send a nice message to someone and they just block you straight away you read their profile it looks like you match what they are after but then they give you an instant block talk about a Kick in the teeth |

Matches need to work mutually and be at the right time too. Don't interpret blocks as impolite, as the other person may have appreciated your message, as well as you but it just won't work for them at the moment. Definitely your polite, well written messages are the way to go. We have to set and manage our expectations to be appropriate here though - it can save a lot of frustration, disappointment and heartache. It's the je ne sais quoi that can mean something will work between people.
At present, due to the virus, people aren't meeting for sex. They may have a backlog of people who they know that they are already waiting to meet and adding new people can just be too much, when none of us are certain when things will get to be safer |

If I send a message and it's read deleted then i usually block, pointless in dwelling on it.
There's plenty of lovely ladies on here happy to reply
Everyone isn't for everyone, but there is someone for everyone |

Why is it a kick in the teeth? They don't want to meet you.
Be thankful you won't ever have to meet them. |

I never get why people are gutted that they can’t meet people that block them.
The last people I want to meet are those that have absolutely no interest in me, so surely it’s a win. |

It's not an unknown fact that single men are swinging pariahs to a certain degree
However, I think, that the use of an online platform makes it feel more apparent than it actually is
It's not necessarily a measure of you, but more a measure of the online 'scene' versus the Swinging scene in general
Let's face it, there are people here that have never and will never enter a swingers club in their life
Online dynamics allow people to make snap judgements based on a few photos,a single introductory message and a few words in a profile
If you allow those snap judgements as a gauge of your success, you line yourself up for a bumpier ride than it need be

You ever had an abusive message like I get from guys. Instant block and it happens a lot.
In fab it's not rude to block. You may think it is. It's just that we might not fancy you or don't want to be on receiving end of an abusive rejection message. I have had those. Just accept it op that you are not there type.
Good luck.

There and to the left a bit |
Tey and think of it as them having done you a favour by removing themselves from future searches you may make OP and therefore narrowing them down.
If you think about it - out there in the real world you are probably attracted to around 5% of people you encounter and of that 5%, maybe 5% will be attracted to you too - it's no different here.
Out there you don't usually get a "kick in the teeth" because someone doesn't fancy you - again try to make it no different here |

And why assume it’s anything negative? Folk are complicated, some women have openly stated on the forums previously that they feel a bit off if the fella is handsome - they might have thought you were out of their league.
You might have been too far away - not everyone on here puts their genuine location.
The point I’m trying to make, is that it could be nothing to do with you, they just woke up in a grump and didn’t feel like being chatty/sociable etc.
Just take it on the chin and try someone else. |

Yeah totally, what about when you send a nice message and they send a lovely message back, then you reply and they laugh, then they reply with some great observational comedy, then you think damn she’s good I better up my game, so you reel out your all time classic, guess what, she loves it, she sends a face photo, oh wow she’s better than you thought, you send yours, she goes ‘Hey, hot stuff!’, you think damn she likes me. Then she mentions she’s got giant eyelashes on her car headlights and a sticker in the back window saying ‘Powered by fairy dust!’
And you’re like, fucking knew it was too good to be true, back to the drawing board! |

What’s wrong with giant eyelashes on car headlights? |
