Not sure of just one, I would guess I have watched the following more than a dozen times...
'Wild at Heart' by David Lynch
Intense, violent, beautiful, frightening, funny and silly... Such a trip!
'Evil Dead II' by Sam Raimi
I've never seen anything to touch it since, probably the biggest influence on any genre ever, it is Ram-jam-packed full of genius... this is one of those films that when I think too hard about it, I feel kinda sad cos I know there will NEVER be anything like it again.
'Manhattan' Woody Allen
As love stories go... it's just perfect, ya know?
'Until the End of the World' Wim Wenders
I think this is actually his least successful. I prefered the pace of this to his others though, I loved the characters and the interaction between them...the characters are great actually they all made me smile and I think the casting was spot on

No body has said Star Wars yet? Anyone my age would have seen the Star Wars films every christmas for about 20 years! I know Episodes IV, V and VI well enough to quote them verbatim!
The Longest Day is also a cracking film too
I have seen Hot Fuzz about 10 times in the last 3 months (as it's the only film I have on DVD) |

"Saturday night fever..... Classic "
I do apologise for Perky's poor taste in films......... Oh dear, oh dear......
For me, I suppose the 'most' watched film is White Christmas. Apart from last year, it's on every Xmas morning (or thereabouts) and sets me up for the 'festival yuletide' (Scuse me while I puke!) a treat And Dean Jaggers face when he is brought on stage to see all his old comrades is just a classic lump-in-the-throat moment every time....Ah......... Pass the mice pies

"The Longest Day - still love it when the German is on the phone to base and looks out the pillbox and sees all those ships coming towards him."
have to agree great film great visuals, the way he looks at them and is shocked and just says "invasion" well in german and then comes to his senses, so many great actors and great parts in it though, great war film that shows the drama with out gallons of blood and swearing, def in my top 10 films |
