I recently got told off by a friend for having a Terry's chocolate orange in my freezer? What's wrong with that and how are you meant to get the crunch otherwise?

As a diabetic I’m 1,000% with you on this but no one else in the family agree but with me it’s the fridge not freezer and it’s the same for all drinks even in winter.

Just like Toblerone I break a triangle off, place it in my mouth and let it melt. Yummy

Its not good for chocolate to get too cold it spoils the flavour and can bloom.

Cold chocolate is hard and less flavourful - pass.

May I ask what connection diabetes has with the temperature of refined sugar ?

Or is it to limit consumption?

No, part of the enjoyment of chocolate is the sensation of it melting in your mouth and covering your tounge in it's smooth, velvety loveliness.

Mmm... Yum.

Even better you can bite both ends off and use it as a straw. See selling it aren't I?

Oooo fig rolls, yummy.

But seriously it's ill-advised to store chocolate in a fridge as it absorbs the other fridge contents aromas and taste's

They're hard enough to break open. Are you planning to use it as a weapon?

You have a point, had to drop it from my 1st floor window and hope the dog didn't get it before I could.

Will get dressed next time I run out in the garden and wrestle with the dog over a chocolate orange. What must my neighbours think?
