I'm stuck in a grump between wanting to yell at the sky and punch the walls, the things pissing me off are not things I can change so that option is out, What do other people do when they just want to scream, shout and hide from the world all at once?

Worthing

Don't get as extreme as that fortunately but I have work breaks in my garden and watch the birds feeding. Local cat visits when weather good and sits with me.

I tend to... Scream and shout and hide from the world. And eat and try to sleep, because I know lack of those things can out me into such moods

I either swing the kettlebell for a bit, a good long walk. Or sometimes, I do actually just scream

Just try to be mindful that when external things that happen and are out of your control, try and focus on what is in your control and take little steps/actions/goals.

Hope it all passes soon

I put on whatever music makes me want to dance around and be stupid...usually something sent from the 80s and I put it on LOUD through headphones and dance and be a twat...usually helps lift my mood.

Sending you hugs sweetie

Screaming definitely feels like a good shout at the min, I may have to go find an empty field or a cushion.

Thank you

Aw I’m sorry you are feeling like that sending hugs x

I usually go for a little walk not sure if it sounds daft or anyone else does this... I take my mind of those situations by looking at random things on my walk peoples style of house number or what plants they have in the front garden things you wouldn’t usually take notice off if you drove by and it starts giving me ideas for my place then I really helps take my mind off those moments you have x

You know where I am if want to scream.

I tend to meditate. Take myself to a happy place. Its hard to deal with 'troubles' when your mind isn't ready to.

I don't get that bad fortunately but had a shite afternoon yesterday with a few things going wrong so took the dog out at dusk, so there I am no traffic (never is around here) listening to the last of the birds going to bed, by the time we were on our way back we had bats flying around our heads hunting & an owl screeching & another calling as they got ready for their evening activities.

Life was good again.

The first success step to dealing with these kinda things is recognising that they are affecting you. After that - there's little tricks/solutions to help dealing with the, ones that you have some kind of control over.

The ones you haven't got any kind of control over - you have to take them out of the equation - easier to say than do, i know, but please try. Xx

This is going to sound a bit sanctimonious and normally I'm all for self care or going for a drive or listening to musicals and having a hot shower and then getting into freshly laundered sheets. This morning I had an anxiety attack about something really silly and I decided the best way to snap out of it was going to help others - it's half term here next week and food bank referrals are shooting up so I went and donated some essentials. I'm not saying this for any that's nice comments and I know how irritating people can be when they say others have it worse off but it helped me remember how lucky I am and I felt like I made a positive difference to at least one family and that made me feel better about myself.

This is a lovely idea. I went to town this morning and could of done this. I will try to get a donation in soon though as the children like to do it too.

I’m chilled and vibing most of the time, think it’s cause I live in a yurt with a hammock and have dub reggae playing, also helps that I live in the middle of nowhere with no WiFi or 4G. I never watch the news and I pay no mind to others and don’t care what people think of me.

Remind myself that my bad mood isn’t everyone else’s fault and try to keep it to myself (I usually fail ). Then I make myself do things that I know will raise my mood. If none of that works, a little self-gratification, a hot bath and early to bed often helps!

Been through and go through these ups and downs too totally sympathise. Getting out of the house, going for a long walk, listening to music, being with nature has really helped me.

Also found that walking in short and being cold makes me feel better than being wrapped up all warm.

Having a good open chinwag with friends is really helpful. Dont sugar coat anything be honest and let it all out.

Hope you start feeling better soon. Take care and self care is really important.
