The scenario.

You message or you receive a message from the outset.

The 'table tennis' starts. IE, messaging back and forth.

Then 'BOOM' you receive a message back saying for example.

'I have found someone better'

Commonplace on (fab) lol.

I’d say ‘okay, have fun

I mean, it wouldn’t be true. There’s no one better than me. But it’s not my job to make them realise that

Passive Agressive bollocks. I'd be happy I'd not wasted any more time on them.

I guess if someone is looking for a exclusive fwb this can happen.

Hence why when I’m looking I am a kind of eggs in one basket type of girl but then they don’t follow up with anything so I end up twiddling my thumbs wondering if I over read into it and get put in the friend zone

So I think the way the girl who has unfortunately annoyed you has done it the right way.

That’s some goofy shit, there’s no need to make someone feel like shit if you picked someone else. You just go quietly to the other person you prefer

Club Meets Only

Sounds like you dodged a bullet there, I'd say have fun & then block them so they can't come back if/when the other person fucks them around or whatever

They just go straight into my 'blocked' list.

No questions asked, move on.

We have been passed over for better offers. We're soft swing and always have a social first so there's no guarantee of any sort of sexual activity. If someone comes along offering sex lots of people will take the offer up.

We don't blame them it really is every man for himself on fab

That’s terrible. I’d guess it’s more likely from a fantasist that had no intention of ever meeting.

Worthing

Best strike while the iron is hot as the saying goes. I'd say a couple of messages should be enough before proposing a meet outside of the health crisis.

In the middle

It happens, I remember messaging with a local chap who got me mixed with someone he was already chatting with and sent me a reply that should have been for her, turns out he had double booked himself and I just graciously pointed it out and said I hope they have a great evening

Yes.

Given what you read on forums, this can't be much of a surprise, surely.

I’d only be surprised that they’d taken that long to find someone better to be fair.

Debauchery

That is rude.... why don’t they just disappear instead. I would just Send back some Witty reply or ignore.

It’s when you get those who when you say sorry you aren’t going to meet and they reply “your loss”, that makes me laugh everytime

In a town full of colours

I'd see that as he just did me a big favour by sending that early on in the chat, very little time has been wasted chatting to them.

But no I've not had that.

Would someone actually do that I’d wish them all the best it’s their loss not yours, I may not be the hottest person but I know I’m nice on the inside and If they haven’t taken the time to see that they didn’t deserve me in the first place

It isn’t their loss. They aren’t missing out, they had the opportunity and they declined. They don’t want it, therefore aren’t missing out.

It’ll be the OPs loss, or no ones loss at all
