The thick of it!

Im actually really struggling between the sixties, with such iconic arists and songs and the eighties with the advent of electronic music and hiphop, but will have to setgle for the sixties, as if by magic i seem to know every word to every song i hear from that era! i wasnt even born then!!! lol

Whats your fave decade for music and why! just a bit of nosey fun thats all

Ben

Tricky one as we listen to all sorts but I think for the sheer concentration of absolute bangers, the 1890’s

Enigma Variations - Cavalleria Rusticana - Symphony No.6 in B minor - La boheme - Karelia Suite - Cello Concerto in B minor

1990s rave, dance music, watching & listening to it evolve from house to trance & beyond. Soft spot for Italian piano house.

70’s!

Everything from Glam Rock to cheesy disco classics, to Punk Rock and New Wave, Mod revival etc.

Never been another period better than that

Although I was very young at the start of the decade I’d say the 70’s, there was so much diverse music about.

At the start of the decade you had glam rock, heavy metal and TSOP. As the decade progressed you had disco then punk and new wave. So many original artists making brilliant music.

Music seems to have become much more fragmented and manufactured since.
