So pre covid days..

Id get butterflies and feel a bit sick and nervous prior to meeting someone

then the meet goes well

but then id also find id be nervous too waiting for that 1st bit of contact when they have got home etc..

Am i blocked or not blocked

I think its gone well,, but you're never truly sure how its gone for them. oh man i used to be so nervous..

Anyone else get the jitters/nerves?

I totally envy those people who are super cool and chilled. Loads of confidence from the off.

After the first 2 mins i relax quickly.. get the 1st kiss out the way and then i can breathe..

I think you can usually tell if the meet went well. Sometimes i meet people who i get on well with but decide i do not wish to get naked with them or them with me. That is just life and i just move on.

Nerves to me are a good sign!

Kinda like an anticipation of good things to come

The nerves / adrenaline are what keeps me going. If it all became a bit run of the mill and the excitement wasn’t there I’d stop, although too many nerves can be destructive of course.

But I’ve yet to have a meet where the butterflies didn’t kick in beforehand .. It’s all part of the thrill!

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

I'd get excited to finally meet the person i'd been chatting to for a while. Not nervous.

You can usually tell if a meet has been a really good one I think.

Yes I'm a wreck before I meet someone - but in a good way

I miss it

All of the time, even with people I've met before, it's an excited, nervous feeling.. Love it, if you don't feel it, I'd say, it's not worth doing.

I do miss the jittery nerves of a meet

I get it every time, even if we’ve chatted a lot before meeting

Bring back the nerves

Oh gosh our first big social was nerve wracking. Luckily we had chatted to a few people before hand so knew who they were. That helped, but the nerves were real.

Until Jack Daniels kicked in.

?

I get butterflies, but they're excitement rather than nerves - I always really look forward to meeting someone that I've been chatting to

Nah, I'm pretty chilled on a social meet. Failing all else I'm likely out eating cake with a brew

Only blind hook ups produce butterflies. There is expectation and room for a lack off attraction.

North West

Can only really comment on clubs, but I was hellishly nervous before we got there, then I relaxed quite quickly.

Ditto for N's GB. I was nervous on the way there, but once the guys got going and it was clear that she was enjoying it...

I'm a nervous person though, so unless it was someone regular I can't see the nerves vanishing.
