So called Kentish delicacy
evaporated milk, muscovado sugar,
shorcrust pastry
Whisk sugar & milk until light & fluffy. Pour into case & bake for 10 minutes. remove from oven & cool.
Served on its own or with clotted/whisked full fat cream. |

Prefer Manchester Tart
Pastry case, jam (mixed fruit or Raspberry if you are posh), thick/set custard, hundreds and thousands (or coconut if poncy LOL).
Chill until the wait becomes too much. |
