I think it's not just London, most towns are very quiet at the moment, and we all know why, not exactly a surprise

It also depends where you're looking, if you're looking at places that would usually be full of tourists then of course it would appear quieter, from what I've seen, normal residential places appear as normal

It’s quite surreal the underground, Covent Garden market, Piccadilly Circus all very quiet....but the bars around Waterloo and Shoreditch are good still at the weekends

Unless you knew how crazy Piccadilly was before lockdown you may not realise. The tubes were fairly busy yesterday

Not at the moment , our offices are closed, but I still visit every few weeks and my kids in Waterloo at Kings.

Sunderland

We spent the weekend in London 2 weeks ago. We stayed in Islington and walked around to Borough Market, Southbank, Soho. It was a lot quieter than usual but there was still places that were busy. We managed to walk across London bridge with only 2 other people on it.

It must be so hard for the smaller businesses.

Sounds good to us - we're going on Friday, and less people means less queues.
