Proper ham shank and mushy peas made in a pressure cooker (something I don't possess) and then served with a warm pork or stewed steak plate pie. That and school spam fritters. I used to love them.

Plus rice pudding worst things on the school menu

My favourite dish at school was one we had at night time, Rounders - they were like scotch eggs but instead of egg they were filled with baked beans, extra beans on the side and bread and butter
