Love carrot cake... but allergic to cheese... so have to read labels to find out what toppings they have put on it.... otherwise nothing beats a nice piece of naked carrot cake or naked banana cake..... |

Love banana cake too, great workout food, much easier to make and gets rid of those old bananas !! |

I prefer to make my carrot cake with butter icing orange flavoured I’m not a cream cheese person  |

I have a son who is coeliac. So I learnt to cook gluten free foods. Carrot cake is one of them, but not his favourite one so far .... I quite enjoyed it though |

Yes I make a nice one with cream cheese icing on top! I bought a lovely lemon cake when i finished work this morn because daughter and granddaughter came over and neither of them wanted any! So have a whole one to eat myself x |

Carrot cake is sometimes OK. The stuff I had at school put me right off because it was clearly just cake with grated carrot mixed into it. It was about as enticing as brocolli ice cream or salmon yoghurt. |

I also like the banana cake too. I havent had it for a while. I think I will make it one day soon as well |
