Bit of mindless observation I have noticed its colder when I come out of work at 9 than it is when I leave home to cycle to work at 3 15 thought it was maybe me but it's been every day this week all way home and there been no wind x

Mornings are very chilly at the moment

But as the sun breaks through the days lately are really nice..

9 am I start at 4 am and it's not as cold then weird! X

Not really. Sun sets. Earth stops warming. Warm air rises.

When you leave for work , Earth has been cooling for some hours. When you are on your way home, Earth has been cooling for some PLUS hours and it has been facing away from the Sun into dark cold space. Temperatures can also depend on cloud cover , not to mention traffic and other human activity.......
