It looks like they will have been scrapped I remember when I didn't go out last year because I was feeling a little bit under the weather watching on the TV so many people out and about celebrating, it's going to be very quiet on that TV because I bet there won't be any fireworks going off either but then again it's not like it's been a good 2020 |

I thought this thread would have been about plans in 2021. I was going to say travel, travel, travel be it in this country camping or foreign shores. That's my plans.
But NYE in TV, Horlicks, log burner sounds about right |

We usually go out with lots of friends and New Year's Day. It's a big day in our local village. Unfortunately that won't be happening so probably just go for a walk and relax in front of the log burner. |

Year before last.. As an idea for some peeps
Discussed what to do New years eve, drinking, Town maybe comes to mind the usual stuff
Threw in the idea of, how about go to bed early so we can get up and go for an dayout/overnight in a posh hotel.
Went with the idea and headed off to Liverpool 9am New year's day.. Hotel was 1/3rd of the price of new years eve, no traffic at all, sunny winter day.. Had a walk round Liverpool and Dock area, s, went in a few shops that were open, coffee and lunch at the docks, couple drinks at tea time then stayed in at the Mecure Hotel and watched movies in bed and just chilled really.
Was great.. Happy healthy, luxury start to new year with zero hangover for not much money |
