Nothing wrong with meeting guys in hotels although not my preferred scenario. Having said that I would check out their profile with a fine toothcomb and check for any inconsistencies before I d agree to meet - hence I as asking about the age earlier. It is only minor detail, admittedly but if there are small inconsistencies how would I know that he is not hiding other things... and I am not talking about hiding the sausage |

I always think it is much safer to meet someone you don't know in a hotel than go to their house. At least if I do end up at the bottom of a pond in a suitcase they will have him on CCTV. |

That's not even vaguely true. I was told to join this site by a couple after meeting them via a different (paid) site. I have been on here for nearly 4 years now and do get annoyed by the sort of arogance displayed in your comment above.
In answer to the OP, I have met a few people in hotels, when either one or other of us has had to travel (meeting half way, for example) and the truth is, you can treat a hotel room however you want to without having to worry about tidying up after a particularly messy sesion.

I think there's a marked difference corresponding with someone, you both decide to meet and a hotel is a joint choice.
