Depends on the person i love a social.
Ive not been too bothered about playing recently.
Had a social afew weeks back with a lovely fellow fabite that was 35 mile. However last year travelled 130mile by train for a social.  |

I never have any expectations when going on a first meet, so in effect I look at all first meets as socials only, with the possibility of things progressing if that's what we both want.
To answer the OP, about 90 miles for a first meet |

I once travelled 50 miles for a social which was 3 hours and various trains.
2 1/2 years later I went on the marry her and that was 2 1/2 years ago |

I have travelled well over 200 miles for a social however that was a big organised one. For smaller or individual ones then no more than half an hour travel time. |
