Something different like a Moto guzzi v8. 500cv v8 that reached 172mph in 1956. It was 20 years before another GP bike achieved that speed.
Or maybe a Honda 6, 250cc 6 cylinder. They were so loud that when they changed gear at the IOM TT you could hear it on the mainland if the wind was right. |

My first ever bike was an mbx125 bought It new crashed in less than two hours. Got another one though had an all speed exhaust etc. Don't know why they weren't more popular, far better bike than the Rd125 all my mates had. |

Well in ma life I've had 3 cars, 1 Transit Van and 26 Motorbikes, stripped all the bikes down to every last nut and bolt, restored and rebuilt them. Spent 6 weeks touring Europe with 3 mates on a Laverda Jota in 1987.
Would love a Ducati Desmo though |

I had a hornet for playing but my love was my vfr800 and would love one again. She had the power but also could keep that power over huge distance...and she had almost a whine or whistle type backdrop in her sound when you tweeked the throttle...loved that bike even though she wasn t the easiest bike for a short ass |

The whine is due to gear driven cams. Sounds nice. |

Hard to pick just 1.
Honda SP2 castrol colours has to be up there though.
I still have my '05 Hornet 900 (only bike I ever bought new) that has taken me round most of Europe. That is a wonderful bike and the naked styling has probably helped me keep my licence . Mr. |

If your into bike sounds the rsv4 factory is just like a MotoGP bike.
Has a clever valve in the exhaust which opens above 5k to get passed mot and noise regulations.
Go listen on YouTube. |

I have it currently (should be in my pics i think!)
Been lucky enough with a few classics in my time but either sold or crashed
Though if someone was to offer me a good price on a V4 916 25th anniversary edition...I wouldn't say no

I've done full resto's of a couple of Yamaha TZR125's & a Suzuki RG125, would love a Honda NS400r as i love the sound of the triple 2stroke, or a Yamaha RD350ypvs, unobtainable goal would be a MTT Y2K or a Yamaha OW01 |

A relative of mine had a replica of the 1st ever motorcycle, the 1885 Daimler Reitwagen, built with a wooden frame, He had quite a few other vintage bikes including a Sparkbrook and regularly displayed them at Barton Bike night before he died. |

I find today's sports bikes have lost a lot in the looks department due to weight loss and current styling trends which is sad.
A ZX7RR in green looks awesome and just like a race bike should. |
