Think everyone has to cut their cloth according to their means to be honest...the leisure industry as a whole has taken a battering......  |

I see a lot more sharing of offers in certain hotels when people are discussing attending socials and that is nice. Before it was focused on which one are you staying in to ensure a shag, now it is about making it cost effective and hopefully getting a shag.
I think and only my opinion.... there may be too many, they are diluted with lack of numbers and last minute cancellations due to people waiting until the last minute to see how many go and that puts a huge worry on the organisers shoulders. I very much agree with the idea of paying when you put your name down via paypal... the masquerade ball in Scotland is like that and it reflects organisation and being professional. Saves the 'simplistic marketing approach' of saying hurry hurry the tickets are going fast and they say that most weeks and the constant bumping of the threads speaks to struggling for numbers... that in itself causes people to delay paying incase it goes tits up.
How some people can go to every bloody one, parties,clubs, BBQ's etc etc when on other threads moan about the cost of living is beyond me..... but hey their money.

Thanks.... I have a new (part time) job which I started last week, just too late for the social........... There willl probably be a number of other reasons why I can't get laid once the money starts coming in! |

I travelled less, attended less socials and hardly met anyone on a 1-1 basis in the past year.
I got more active by attending dance classes and cycled more.
Also, I needed to upgrade my camping kit.
Hence I had less money available for sexy fun.
Besides, I can't be arsed to trawl through tones of mud in order to find a worthy gem to meet.
I guess my plate had been quite full off FAB to take my mind off sex!
