Do you accept friend requests from people that have never even messaged you before?
I don’t know why but it really irritates me.
At least message me first.
Is it just me? Do I need to change my feelings about it? |

I don’t think it’s just you that gets frustrated OP..
I find it seriously annoying..no message no nothing but a request.. especially when they aren’t photo verified or nothing. Im very weary of them.. pic hunters or Tries stealing yours xx |

It irritates me too, or when you reply to a message and then they send a friends request especially when they've got an empty profile. |

I’m glad I’m not the only one to find it irritating. Occasionally I’ll get a message after I’ve just left the request there saying something like “accept my friend request” erm no thanks  |

Annoys me. I won't accept the request till they go offline, look at private pics, fab one so they know I've been in, then delete the friendship. Petty I know, but they should respect my wishes |

No don’t change just block them.
We put in our profile no friend requests until we have met but they still come flooding in like it’s just a sexy Facebook.!!!!

I have a strict rule of not accepting any friend requests without having exchanged at least a dozen messages, this rule goes out the window if it’s a fit local woman, or indeed a fit woman, or a woman, or I suspect the person could be a woman, apart from these exceptions, then I stick to to this rule and I can’t be swayed otherwise. |

Nope we wait till they’re offline, accept, look at their friends only pics, then unfriend. |

I think you should at least hold a conversation through messages and then if I think it's going well I always ask first, just think it's good manners personally |

no I get loads of friend requests from guys that I've never spoken to a few from women also. I just delete them |

Since I hid a good portion of my pictures I get a lot more friend requests than I used to
But to get on my list I have to know you or at least we’ve had some messages to each other.
I only have a few on here, so places are limited  |

Happens to us a lot. Usually by guys, we guess, wanting to perv on our friends only pics. We leave them on a list not deleting them so they can't send another one |

I just leave them sat there so they can't send another request. I do find it a bit strange, but I presume it's because they just want to look at my friends only pictures...obviously their pea brains can't figure out that if I wanted random people to see them then I'd move them into my public folder |

I get loads of people asking to be added as a friend but i decline most. My friends list is small and i would rather keep it that way as i want the people on it to be a bit special to me and not just a number. |

It doesn't bother me in the slightest and I rarely except a friend request and less it someone RI have already met or somebody I've been chatting to a lot.
I just ignore them, I don't remove them or anything because then they can't send another one. |

Nope.
We will not accept requests from people, no matter how hot, if we haven’t been chatting to them for a bit or have met them.
So many people chance it just for a look at the friends only album.
Very rarely delete a friend so we think we have it about right. |

If I'm chatting to someone and it's going well, I ask if I can send a friend request. I always reassure them that if its not what they want, I promise not to throw throw my toys out of the pram. I always send face pics with an initial message anyway, so they know it's going to mean they can see, ahem- "other" pictures.
I think I've only ever had 2 refusals. But I'd never send an invite without chatting first. |
