Neither men or ladies have it easier, men have to do a lot of typing which can result in RSI,
Ladies have to do a lot of reading that can result in eye strain, headaches/migraines.
Neither of which are nice to have so I don't think any sex has it easy both have it hard in a different way |

I think men *do have it easier if they're prepared to make the effort of getting out there.
By out there I mean clubs and socials.
I know plenty of blokes who attend them and make connections that way.
Far less effort than sending hundreds of messages and far less denting to the ego if there's nobody there that they end up getting down n dirty with.... and guess what? They also have a great laugh and good night out.
Seriously, they make it much harder on themselves than need be, all because they're too afraid or lazy to actually make less effort! Go figure.

. I agree with what you said as a single guy who can’t accommodate , is not the most photogenic and the wrong side of 50 Sending messages doesn’t really work for me. Instead I regularly attended the Bank socials as well as a club and also I believe I contribute positively on the forums especially the London forum.All of this works better for me and I have made some good friends and good experiences. |

Pretty much exactly this. In terms of the ratio of effort in to reward out, I've found it's a much more sensible use of my time and resources to physically go to a club.
Simply being prepared to go and make connections in person immediately makes a man stand out in a way he never will on here.
As I've said before: On Fab, I'm invisible; in my local club, all I have to do is stand up and everyone knows about it. |

I've always found the best way to approach fab is stop thinking too much about what *you* want, and think about what the other person wants. I see tons of people I'd love to meet, but I don't message them unless I'm fairly confident that I'm what they're looking for - just need to be honest and realistic with yourself, and check your ego.
If more people on fab acted this way, we'd all have an easier time and more success/fun!
