I love the version of It's All Too Much covered by Journey from their first album.

I prefer it to the original on YeLlow Submarine. It's a George Harrison song I think.

Apart from the obvious Joe Cocker "With a little help from my friends", I like Bruce Springsteen's live version of "I saw her standing there" and "Back in the USSR" by Leningrad Cowboys

There and to the left a bit

I'm Only Sleeping by Suggs is a fair stab at the original that brings something new to it

Not a direct cover as such but therw would be no Chemical Brothers' Let Forever Be, without the Beatles' Tomorrow Never Knows.

I was going to say Across the Universe by Rufus Wainwright, with a very young Dakota Fanning in the video

My favourite version of It's All Too Much is by Steve Hillage, just cosmic surfing on a sound vibration...

Rick Wakeman does a cracking version of Eleanor Rigby in the style of Prokofiev.

Is it heretical to say I'm not keen on the Beatles?

Anyway my favourite covers are Dear Prudence by Siouxsie and the Banshees, that's been mentioned up above!

Tomorrow never knows by Danielle Dax.
