Just been watching 'Nazis : A warning from history' (a nice light way to start the week  )
I was a bit bemused as to why they were playing 'Mack the Knife' as a theme tune, so I had a quick google.
Now I'd always associated it as quite an upbeat tune associated with Messrs Darin, Armstrong and Sinatra amongst others.
I had no idea that it started as a somewhat sinister piece in a german opera, The Threepenny Opera (as a murder ballad).
The Threepenny Opera was in turn based on an 18th century british opera, The Beggars Opera.
So, that's my education for the day.
Back to looking at cocks and fannies now, oh and maybe getting ready for work

This morning I have learnt that Katie Price thinks that "That is vile, jog on," is an acceptable critique on Next Top Model.

well due to another thread ive just googled Marc Bolan and checked out who he was.. front man of T Rex and was killed in a car crash 2 weeks before his 30th bday |

I learnt that jarva is annoying, and IE 8 is not supported by our software. It's a nightmare to uninstall, and it upsets people when you touch their pc.
