The ego is a little bastard. If we could all learn how to quiet or kill the ego we would be a lot happier.
The ego loves drama, not saying too much as I have a whole chapter in my book about what our ego’s can do to us. |

I wonder if this post is referring to ‘ego’ in the colloquial sense of an inflated sense of self (likely given that the post is in itself generalising) or the actual meaning of the unique identity of a human.
The former would be a bit silly, and the latter would be an observation on someone who needs support and help from someone mature enough to see through a veneer. |

I remember in an old workplace a guy trying to put me down several times after I had rejected his flirting via WhatsApp.
He kept doing it over and over, making little digs for weeks. So one day I decided to snap back but in the most jokey way possible, I teased that he’s only taking digs at me and what I wear etc because I rejected his advances on WhatsApp, j said it with a smile and a laugh.
The poking fun soon stopped!

From my life experiences, women are just as bad. I've known women that won't leave the house without makeup etc, even to nip out for one item. Getting worse with Instagram and Snapchat filters etc.
People are losing their self image. But I guess that's more insecurity, than ego? But imo it's kind of mixed together really.
On here, women tend to have countless photos on their profiles, usually the same angles over and over. With the profile text saying stuff like "don't just send me a one line message saying hello" lmao, who the fuck do you think you are?

Didn't get the chance to show the love on those closed threads. All points taken, and even those sadistic gents. Not as bad as I thought, just bloody worse lol. And those fantastic ladies, and I mean all fantastic ladies, I have my eyes on you. (Santa's gifts are sometimes for punishment ) .
Will push my head in occasionally to give you some target practice.
(the ones who thinks I am a porcupine will love that too for sure).
But honestly it is all much appreciated.
