Why are stickers that leave a residue you can't get off still a thing in 2020?

Try getting off with hot water and vinegar. Soak the area for a bit. That should loosen it.

As mentioned above if you leave it to soak in the hot water it should come off easily. I've never tried it with vinegar though

I didn't think of vinegar - after soap and a finger nail failed I soaked it in cologne.

That will smell better anyway. The vinegar method makes it smell like a chip shop

Put cushion on floor.

Mount dildo.

Let piss-cum-spray work its gloss removal magic.

For dado rails use a triangle wedge cushion and add wand for extra height

when we use to take warning stickers off motorbikes we used a hairdryer and muc-off cleaner.
