Anyone on here suffer from IBS?
Not the best of topics I know but struggling my IBS just now and wondered if anyone had any tricks or tips to ease it?
Doing shift work probably doesn’t help either |

When I get IBS I use Colofac IBS which is available from over the counter at chemists. It normally clears it up in 2 to 3 days. I get IBS a few times a year. If you are getting it frequently I would see a GP. |

I have to cut out the chocolate which I love, I find that helps.
I also take Turmeric Tablets (get them at the health food shop)
..
To get mine under control I used Symprove for a few months, quite pricey but it really helped me.
Check out their website.

Everyones IBS is different tbh, you just gotta find what works for you.. |

Best to see the doc and find out the reasons causing it as it could be a deeper problem. |

True.i was found to have Colitis...need daily enema medicine... untreated can lead to bowel cancer..( it still can but lesser chance if on treatments.)
With delays in cancer treatments,it's worth asking gp for opinion...

Feel for you dude as I've had it chronic in the past.
I'd suggest some light yoga as this can really help to untangle the insides.
I'd also second the comment above about getting it checked out if it's a persistent problem. |

"loperimide"
Lopermide( immodium) is good at stopping constant diarrhoea, it does work.
It is available as cheaper brands in Wilko's..expensive in chemist for same stuff.. |

Flat cola is great for upset stomachs (don't knkw if that is linked for you?). I find chilli doesn't help, which is a bitt of a pain in the arse as I love curries and hot food.
I'd go back to the docs. Think they only way they can diagnose is by having a look with a probe. It's a dirty job, but.. |
