Can you deep squat?

And I mean a proper, bum-down, heels-flat-on-floor squat.
If you can even do it, do you find it comfortable? Can you stay down for a prolonged period?
This is a flexibility question, not a chance to brag about how much you can "lift".

I never knew this had a name, mr does it all the time and he’s not a small chap. He started doing it because working on a farm there are occasions where you wouldn’t want to kneel or sit on the floor to complete a task. |

I can squat no problem despite being a fatty. However I can’t return back to a standing position from a low squat I don’t have the strength so I have to tumble on to my knees and get back up |

I’ve been laid up in bed for a month and still only doing limited exercise for the next four.
I can feel my back is very stiff but I can still do it. I think I need to do some sort of aerobics. |

Then I tried immediately after posting this, and I couldn't do it any more. Felt like my left knee was about to explode from the internal pressure. That's what not fucking since March does to my physical condition. Hah.
I've been working on it every day since, gradually rebuilding the flexibility in my left knee. I'm pleased to say I'm able to do it again now. Heels flat, arse right down. Sink right into it and rise back out of it again. Phew.

That said, you've now got me wondering how long it would take to train up to the point where I could deep squat and then rise again without withdrawing from a partner. Hmm!

Can't with heels down. Get about 90% down and then its uncomfortable.
With heels raised slightly its easy and comfortable

Yes. I trained myself to do this in my early twenties as I wanted to birth my child in this position and I've just kept it up. All these years later I often use it in sex as an alternative to cowgirl. It more like riding English style |

If its without then yes but if we are talking with then no.
But i can squat below parallel which is as deep as you have to go for any Powerlifting federations judges to say "good lift" |

I can fairly easily, but then i'm a competing weightlifter so stretches and bits and pieces like that are part of my training plan too. There's also strict rules in comps for things like depth! |

I didnt know so I tried abd the answers yes, it wasn't difficult at all. However I ended up almost falling over because I laughed because as I went down, both my knees and hips all clicked like an old man |

I haven’t got enough flexibility in my ankles, so I’ve been using a squat ramp from Watson Gym Equipment. I can now do below parallel Goblet Squats with good form. |
