Totally binge watched this (2 series) over the course of 3 days.

I know it won't be for everyone but if you watched wrestling and are familiar with some of the names from the 80s and 90s it's defo worth a watch.

I had no idea Dino Bravo was assassinated!

Bruiser Brody murdered.

There were a few episodes that had me proper crying and some stuff that really made me smile.

Series 2 is even better imo where they cover the Chris Benoit murder/suicide and the Owen Hart death as well.

As a wrestling fan, it's great to watch wrestling documentaries not solely made by WWE as you get less of a whitewashing of history

My heart sank a few times. Learning about some of the stuff my heroes of old did. Jimmy Snuka for one.

I loved it as a kid. There was one time we were all in the living room watching, including my nan (one of the Royal Rumbles I think, I must have been about 8 or 9ish )

The Rockers were on, I proper loved em. Anyway, you know how sometimes your words mix together and what you thought was gonna leave your mouth most certainly does not.

Well, Essex born I don't say throw, I say frow.

I wanted Marty Janetti to "frow him on the floor" my brain also wanted him to "chuck him on the floor"

My mouth however decided the outcome was "Go on Marty, fuck him on the floor" much to my horror and everyone else's shock and hysterics

They really did well to tell all the stories and I hope there's a season 3 soon. I love this series.

It's unbiased and factual. Can't knock it at all and like you, I hope there's more to come, but at the same time I don't coz that would mean more bad stuff

Ultimate Warrior was the best. Loved it when he would hold on to the ropes and go crazy.

Another sad loss

So many wrestlers passed on. Although looking at their lifestyles you can see why.

Definitely. The episodes about Eddie Guererro and the road warriors/legion of doom really highlights one side of it.

Lack of time off or pay if they aren't working, so self medicating their injuries.

Brutal

One DVD we will never part with is the official WWE Chris Benoit DVD.

That and the LOD documentary.

I put a poster of LOD in my mums bedroom, one of the Ultimate Warrior above her bed and I think a very young Undertaker too she shit bricks when she walked in and noticed I'd "decorated" for her

"The Bush Whackers with their walk on??. Oh the memories"

My lad got into wresting locally. Was ace as they'd put on shows and bring some of the old schoolers over for special appearances.

I've met Rhyno, Jim Duggan, Ted Dibiase, Tatanka, Hardcore Holly. There's a couple more, I'll have to go through the photos

So jealous, I've been to a few live events but never met any wrestlers. The Undertaker is my favourite wrestler ever and it's a shame I never got to see his entrance live.

Oh I really have to see this! Many a weekend was spent watching wrestling with my sister. And making sure we were good to be allowed to stay up late to watch the Royal Rumbles and Wrestlemania's on Sunday nights. Think they finished about 1am or something with time difference and I was still in primary

Yeah Chris Benoit was one of my favourites - such a sad ending. Also Sting and Brian Pillman!

Steve Austin though..

Brian Pillman would be an interesting topic for this series. He died quite young and was well known for being slightly out there

I'd be tempted to sign up for that skull thingy he does if I didn't think I'd die

There are so many that it would be interesting to cover.

I watched a documentary about Jake the Snake and that was sad as.

Davey Boy Smith would be one I'd be gripped at. I remember being so upset when he died.... ohhh and I loved Matilda too

I always thought Sensational Sherri was insanely cool even though I wanted to kick her arse

People I'd forgotten about brought right back to life. Real sense of "oooohhh I remember him" and wondering when you forgot them for me.

Kinda made me wonder what else I've forgotten over the years!

If you look for the grilling JR podcast, the guys who made the series get interviewed about each episode individually and give a further break down and information on each story.... something to wrestle podcast is good also x

There are way too many wrestling podcasts to keep up with. I just listen to The New Day one because it's great for light entertainment lol
