Amazingly the cucumber is actually a nut not a vegetable.

The cucumber was first discovered by Sir Philip Cucumber in 1975.

Every cucumber that has been eaten is a distant relative to that first cucumber found in 1975.

Before cucumber sandwiches these sandwiches were just called sandwiches, when the cucumber was added they changed the name to cucumber sandwiches.

Nobody knows till this day why supermarkets put cucumbers in plastic and not bananas, some say it’s because banana skins come off, but this is yet to be clarified.

Of all the cucumbers that have ever lived, 10% of that total are in supermarkets and shops as we speak.
