Nothing. As long as it touches you. Has feeling- any genre works. Music is ingrained in me. Needs to give you goosebumps. Anything from house to classical and everything in between.

Rough & Raw - that is the genre I like. Included in this is:

Delta & Chicago blues (NOT Texas & British blues - too polished)

Pre-Punk & Punk and some post-punk (e.g Fugazi yes v Television no)

Rough Americana

I also have an uncanny ability to name almost any classic rock song playing as that was all there was to listen to growing up in the absolute middle of nowhere

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

I'm a bit partial to heavy metal hair bands of 80's/90's.

Love some 80's pop too! Been listening to "The Midnight a lot". The 80's films to their synth tracks and catchy as fuck drum beats & lyrics are amazing. If anyone is interested then click the link:-

Too much into music virtuosity instead, songs that go on and on and I don’t like his voice

More eclectic taste these days.

In my younger days it was Rock, Thin Lizzy especially, then throw in Gillan and Saxon I was a happy Rocker.

But age changes you and you get the genius of some great song writers, that you can’t deny yourself their music.

Bacharach and David

Beach Boys

Leonard Cohen (The Future, what amazing lyrics)

Tom Waits

I have a soft spot for 80’s Soul as well.

Just put me down for everything but Rap

Apart from

Public Enemy and Grandmaster Flash.

Sod it I like everything
