I would be interested in someone explaining how exactly your personality is affected by the relative location of the sun (as viewed from earth) and random patterns of stars (many of which are hundreds of light years apart and not even part of any local cluster) can possibly affect your personality?
How for example can your mood be changed by the relative position of Mars which exerts about the same gravitational pull on you as a chest of drawers in the same room? |

Aries, and I've never seen anything to make be believe star signs tell you anything and enough to make me think it's all made-up crap. If you make predictions vague enough you'll get some people to buy into them. |

Sun in Gemini (8th House)
Moon in Pisces (5th House)
Libran Ascendant
I could go on... I got pretty in to it all. The more detail that you understand on your natal chart the better, but knowing your sun and moon and ascendent gives you a much clearer picture. |

Call it what you will. Destiny, journey, life path, connection to God, spiritual inclinations, your personal manifestation of the collective unconscious. |

I see no correlation
You say a possible connection to a creator yet all this apparent information about your sun or moon gives no information on the existence or lack of of a rumoured creator
The fact your answer is so vague illustrates "knowing ones chart" gives little of anything beyond pseudo circular rhetoric x |

Libra. Yeah, some parts are accurate, some not so much, like I hate injustice and I need to balance everything out before I make decisions. I find my Chinese sign - Earth Snake - to be even more accurate.
Funnily enough I'm an air sign and I always find that earth signs, like Capricorn and Taurus, always bring me back down to earth. |

I am a Leo, so I am enthusiastic, confident, passionate and generous. Other people think I am arrogant, selfish, and only concerned about how others see me.
I am also a sceptic and don't believe in astrology |

Accurate?
Accurate as in anything I've read describing a Gemini is definitely me !! "

One thing that concerns me about the "harmless fun"
Is from age 0 many children are exposed to the concept
Many will read all the made up nonsense and in some cases the human will become a self fulfilling prophecy

I wonder if there is any correlation with the star signs and swingers?
Assuming star signs are nothing other than made up, then would it not be expected to have an average distribution of all star signs as swingers? |

Exactly like ALL Religions then, except although both can bring comfort,I don't recall any horoscopes telling you to go kill unbelievers.. |

I can't say I thought about my sign when I was little , by the time I did I was a teenager and I was already who I was. I had my own thoughts and own opinions by then . |

They're all changed now though aren't they?
Hasn't there been a 13th one added?
I don't know much about it, I only read about the new sign being added so I'm not sure.
I never bought into Zodiac signs but I do have a lot of the traits that a Libra supposedly has so I don't know.
Doesn't matter anyway because now apparently I'm a Virgo |

I don't know of anyone that can prove a creator! I'm not sure what you mean by 'pseudo circular rhetoric' - you asked a dumb question so you got a dumb answer. |

You suggest your in depth study gives you an insight that cannot be deciphered another way , an in sight ie a sight a revelation
You directly suggested an insight into a God yet prove no insight exists of that nature by then suggesting no one can know if it exists
Defacto therefore you do not nor cannot have an insight into a God if you cannot even determine if it's only a human invented concept
Circular rhetoric means you threw words together "rhetoric " but they say absolutely nothing about anything beyond perpetuateing a circle of pseudo science
And I vehemently disagree with your suggestion that astrology gives any insight however I most certainly do not suggest you are dumb that would be an insult not a rational debating position |

They haven't just 'discovered' a new star sign. All a star sign is is a group of stars that, with a very vivid imagination, you can draw lines between to create a picture. They were first named (to the best of my knowledge) by the Babylonians and developed by the Greeks among others. There are other named constellations beside the 12 we in Western cultures have come to know. Every now and then someone picks up on something and journalists looking for drivel that will fill news space spread it around till all of a sudden a constellation that was first named thousands of years ago is 'discovered' by NASA and everyone is acting surprised. The total gullibility around this, along with the complete lack of interest in checking the facts, tells you every thing you need to know about belief in astrology.

I'm not interested in what you
disagree with. You're quite arrogant: though you say much you all you're really expressing is what you believe to be true and not true. I never made the slightest implication of astrology providing insights that cannot be found elsewhere, not claimed to have experienced some kind of divine revelation myself. That was your interpretation of my words from a pretty dumb question. It was also dumb of me to reply.
I was implying from my original answer that others (including myself at times), may understand a more detailed examination of a natal chart as evidence of the divine - or at least something beyond the mundane. Whether it exists to you is irrelevant.
You're a skeptic - I get it. For me talking with you (this is not a debate, by the way) has been like discussing music with the deaf. |

Aries - and yes I am typical. A born leader, erupts like a crazy person then is calm as a cucumber afterwards, a good friend and someone who will help anyone in need and put the needs of others before that of his own, but cross me or piss me about at your own risk ! I'm an antisocial, singular bastard who says what he thinks and has no filters - honest as the day is long. A bit of a cunt if the truth was said, but a nice cunt to know.
