How is everyone coping due too covid and lockdown?

I live on my own and dont have much family support around to help, so im finding it difficult atm. Never felt so much alone until this virus.

Sorry if im coming of as depressing, just needed to rant.

Well that's proper shite

I've had a rubbish year. Fortunately I'm fairly anti-social so the lockdown didn't bother me

W Yorks

I'm a single NHS front line worker whose only local family (my mum) died in January. All my friends have bubbled with family. I still have no bubble...

But at least I'm going to work. I had to isolate before a medical procedure and it was awful. I can't imagine how lonely I'd feel if I'd had to do it for longer!

Funny thing is that people who had pre-existing mental health problems are often finding lockdown better than those who did not have a mental health condition before lockdown. This is from research out of Canada.

It’s like different strokes for different folks - one type of society works for some people and another type of societal pace works for others. Will be interesting if after covid, there will be different paces that suit different people.
