Am i missing something?
What is it about kik or snap chat? I have spoken to many people on here and a lot go straight into "Have you got kik" ect.

It's easier to talk on but also for some reason all my kik conversations seem to die a slow death... Maybe it's when they realise I don't send nudes idk |

Definitely, I’ve found that the minute you go on kik, the demands for photos begin. |

Ok I'm guessing that people who ask too quick are just after quick pic/vid thrills in real time. So best to chat in here first. Jesus social media fries my melon sometimes |

You can send live pictures on here through messages. Verifications are given when meeting or webcamming. Pictures could be fake as they could take pictures of anybody and make out it’s them |

Completely agree with you , that's why i always say there's no diference between type here or in any app , is same .

I'll happily go to other sites once we've had a social meet. But not before.
I guess it's different for females. We're so used to assessing how a situation could go bad and we're always aware of who'll offer some protection. |

Plus its way too intrusive...you only have to give a couple of people your kik and the next thing you know your phone is blowing up at all hours with demands for pics, sexting when your trying to work, and no concept that you might have an actual life...i like keep conversation here so i can switch off when i need to |

Thats it exactly. If someone says something inappropriate or against site rules they can be reported but thats not as easy on kik ect...
I understand that it works for some but I also don't understand why so many people are so keen to message off the site really quickly into a chat. |

I only message/chat on here away from normal everyday life. I tried kik a few years ago which ended up being a nightmare. I’d looked on here and responded to a few messages then needed to get back to the grindstone so shut the page. Not even 2 minutes later I’m getting abuse on kik because I didn’t reply to a message on here that I hadn’t seen. I just thought f**k that and blocked him on kik and then on here once I had 5 minutes. Needless to say I got rid of kik and the profile on here. I not put myself in that situation again, it’s hard enough being a single female on here keeping up with messages as it is. I don’t need to make it any worse by having kik pinging every 5 seconds |
