Hm... I sent someone a letter and a USB stick with games she loved and couldn't get a hold of, for her birthday!
That's probably the most... The most I can think of, anyway. Took a lot of work and prep to get it all running easily, but well worth it |

I was seriously craving cheese when pregnant and lots of them are “banned”. Partner at the time sourced pasteurised Stilton and Brie from some cheese specialist deli place. So yes. Romantic cheese |

Didn't have much money for something to do for an ex's birthday so surprised her by taking her to the beach at night as we were both at work in the day, it was January so I told her to wrap up warm and we sat drinking wine and eating a picnic I'd prepared listening to the sea and looking at the stars. |

It was fantastic to be surprised like that."

The soppiest was probably when I looked after my high school boyfriend's lizard for him while he was away and I hid notes all over his room.
I don't think I've been on the receiving end of anything I would consider particularly romantic but I'm quite happy with small, thoughtful gestures. |

Set two of my friends up on a romantic picnic date with champers in the park, told both of them to meet me and under a gorgeous willow tree and I left them to it. Both had previously enquired about each other and they got married a year later

MrsHotnotts says it’s when I threw a pint in her mates face for upsetting her by saying she dressed the same as her on a night out and they had a big fight in rock city over it. I think I was pissed and just fed up of them screaming .... |

Well, if this counts as romantic...
When I was 20/21, I was going with this girl who lived in the next city for uni. I was only volunteering at the time so I stayed at hers from Saturday night until Tuesday. She worked in a night club at the time so she would leave me at hers on a Saturday evening. She had a laptop and a desktop computer and I would basically play the Sims 2 all evening. One Saturday the monitor packed up. So she said she was popping to the shop, came back a while later with a brand new monitor so I could keep myself entertained.
Not so romantic, but thoughtful...
Current lover gave me his log in details for his FiteTV app when I couldn't make it round to his to watch a wrestling PPV. So now not only can I watch new episodes of our favourite wrestling company when they come out (they're on at about 1am on a Thursday morning on the app but they're not on in the UK til Friday night) but I can also watch all the past episodes & any PPVs he's bought. |

I always wrote a letter to put in (ex) husband’s birthday card every year. Just a sort of reminiscing over things we’d done etc over the year and telling him how I appreciated him etc. I thought it was fairly romantic. Love a proper old fashioned letter |

It’s different, but after a hospital stay I was not able to do much for myself... so a knight in shining armour took me home, bathed me including hair wash, dried me then dressed me in comfy pjs, moisturisered my hands face and feet, brushed my hair and cuddled me all night and set and alarm so he remembered to give me my tablets on time..... Maybe not traditional romantic but it was to me xx |

Was Summer 2003 and that night i knew was full moom so i call my girlfriend and told her i would stay a litle bite more surfing and i would be late arriving home . Soon the the sunset over i set in the beach candles and some gifts . I drived home to pick her up and we back to the beach .while she was dressing the wetsuit a asked her to close her eyes , when she open the eyes the candles already on saying i love you , we slept that night on the beach , not the first time but that night the moon light was on our favour with beautiful light .
The most romantic thing i ever felt they have done to me
Switzerland 2000 , Cabanne de la Matz in Thyon 2000 walking to this hotel my girlfriend stopped and she toke my hand to her chest and with her other hand she touch very delicate my face and kissed me, at this exactly moment started rain , felt like that kiss lasted forever in a very sweet and tender way |

He wrote me stories and made me feel like the only woman in the world. But the most romantic thing was when he wrote me a letter of apology and explanation. In it he also wrote a list all the things he loved about me and our highlights.
It was heartfelt and beautiful.
He ended it by saying he would be at a specific place at a specific time and he would wait on me to decide his fate. If I turned up or not.
Obviously I went. |

"Feeling soppy tonight... What's the most romantic thing you've done?
or whats the most romantic gesture someone has made for you? "
Took a lady for long weekend to Portugal four bottles of champagne on the flight and gave her a diamond necklace. |

my house gets really cold and my ex would go have a sit down wee when he woke.
I set my alarm for 10 mind before his and went and sat on the toilet even though I didn't need it so he had a warm loo seat.
That's probably the strangest |

I'm actually quite romantic and do notes n things, gestures ya know.
Alas my efforts have been wasted so far, so it's made me think I must just come over a needy sap walkover piece of worthlessness.

The little things are the best things, better than big gestures. I love getting notes in my lunch box. |

I was travelled up the M6 to a friend to hand deliver a Valentines card.
Waited till she left for work and posted the card a few days later she told me not to do anything like as her boyfriend wasn't amused |

I’m very lucky hubby has done so many romantic things for me over the years . from a surprise weekend away to making me breakfast in bed ,sometimes it’s the small gestures that are the most romantic and mean so much |

I travelled in to central London and into the multi story to search for his car to put a red rose under his wipers once. And I spent the day in an archive library trawling through microfiche of the back pages of his local childhood newspaper...he’d been a successful cyclist as a kid and his parents didn’t care, so I wanted to find the cuttings for him. |

I couldn’t be there for my ex’s birthday as I was on my best mates stag do, so I arranged for all her friends to come round ours for a party,
I was in Ibiza and arranged with Cafe Mambo that when I FaceTimed her they’d play Happy Birthday and all the staff and customers joined in with us singing it to her.
Then I’d sorted a night out on the town for them all.
I don’t think she missed me |

In my 20s went to Paris on a whim with my girlfriend at the time. In February.
Went to London, got a Eurostar, found a hotel near the Gare du Nord. First night there had a McDonalds with beer (round about the time Pulp Fiction had come out). At the time it was pretty special. |
