After starting to re-watch both series of The Walking Dead (because it is amazing!)I have a question.

What are your top 5 (easy to obtain) items for the zombie apocalypse?

This is a vitally important question. As a bushcraft & survival instructor I will be ready when the apocalypse comes...

1) Police Riot Gear, best thing to a suit of armour you can get hold off plus it's light weight too.

2) A realy good longbow and a large supply of arrows.

3) A good longsword.

4) A fair tonne of freeze dried food.

5) Lot's of water filtration stuff.

1.boat to get to one of the sea forts outside portsmouth,that should be pretty safe from attack,

2 stores, food and drink to survive on (including fruits and veg that supply seeds as or bulbs that i can grow for next year)

3.large amount of compost they have two tenis courts so will have enough growing space.

4. a fuking big gun and cartridges

5. a few women, entertainment intelectual stimulus, defensive support and humanity surviavl all roled into 1

I will be ok. I have some metal armoured heating pipes and an incinerator i can cut leg holes in. They couldn't bite through that cos its metal!

Sorry to be the sad movie geak but 28 day is not a zombie film it's a film where the people are infected, they don't die and then come back they just get bit or scratched and pass on the "rage virus" still a good film though but not a zombie film as they don't really die and are re-anamated, if you want to see a really bad zombie film, so bad in fact it's good watch "osomby" so bad it's actually quite good lol

Bike jacket (Tough enough to keep teeth off)

Penknife (Multipurpose)

And a radio (Something to locate other survivors with)

I'm not going to have a fight about zombies on here lol but you are wrong, to be classed as a zombie you need to of died and been re-anamated, in 28 days later they are just infected, the bites pass on the infection, dawn of the dead ( old and new one lol), night of the dead, day of the dead, return of the living dead 1.2 and 3, even

The walking dead tv show shows that to become the living dead you must die,

Anyway your night they are not real but they do make so rather good splatter films if your in to that, but to answer the question top 5 things,

1, high powered accurate weapon with lots of ammo,

2. Lots of tinned and dry food

3. Good vehicle ( 4 wheel drive + lots of fuel)

4. Water lots and lots of water+ other drinks.

5.Battery's for anything that's needs electric to work as one day the power will go off and you will need to have a torch or a radio just in case someone is broadcasting

6. Ok I know it's just meant to be 5 things but a shit load of toliet paper as you don't want to really wipe your ass with a handful of grass or leaves lol

1. Shotgun, ideally a semi automatic

2. Katana

3. Suit of light chain mail - yes it would be a pain to wear but it'd also be virtually impossible to bite through

4. Triumph Tiger or similar

5. Eilean Donan castle

Ok, a 4x4 would be more practical than a bike but if you can't look cool after a zombie apocalypse then what's the point of surviving?

Here is my plan, which is almost all in place

First I will befriend several unfit and/or fat people. These 'friends' will act as a buffer (or buffet) to the hordes of undead. As long as I keep enough of them close I will always have time for an escape.

Do not use fire arms!

The undead are drawn to the sound, my preferred weapon is the cricket bat. It has a good weight to it and the two different sides are both useful, the flat side for batting off several zombies, the pointed side for cracking a skull open when in combat with a single zombie. But most importantly it is a nod to my most favourite zombie film Shaun of the Dead.

I already have my hold-up location scoped out and some stockpiling has already took place. I am not going to tell you where it is as then you might steal it. I will hold up there until all the zombies have eaten all the humans and have then ran out of fuel. As I understand it they will not die but should be in a withered and weakened state at which point I, yes MEEEE! Will defeat them and take over the whole WORLDDDDD! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA
