The only Monsters of Rock I went to 1990 - Whitesnake, Aerosmith, Poison, Quireboys, Thunder.
I had a friend who was at the '88 one - Iron Maiden, KISS, David Lee Roth, Megadeth, Guns n Roses and Helloween. |

This (I was there!) although 1980 comes close. 1981 looks on paper to be decent but ac/dc were tired and not on form also the weather was raining. Slade and Whitesnake also went down well before them. |

1991 This day was so good. I went because I was so into Black Crowes but everyone that day was excellent. AC/DC must have thought so too, as they recorded it and it's on dvd now so I can relive the memories.
AC/DC
Metallica
Mötley Crüe
Queensrÿche
The Black Crowes |
