Mi have always interpreted a wink as something akin to “hey, I’m interested in you, come see if I’m of interest to you too”
If they’re not interesting to me I don’t see that there’s a need to reply  |

Yes! I look at each profile on merit.
If they’re close enough.
If they appeal to Kitty.
If they are well written with decent pictures.
I’ll normally either wink back or say “Thanks for the wink, would you like to chat?” |

I always respond to winks from females and couples - I regard the fact that they've sent one as an expression of interest... 
....I send a 'Thanks' message, and usually ask what they read or saw that prompted them to send the wink - especially if they've done so when I don't appear to be their 'type'...
....eg., just this morning I received a wink from a young lady who's profile specifically states 'Safe sex only' - when my pics and profile clearly show I only play bare...
....frustratingly, about half of the winks I get come from TV/TS profiles, when mine clearly indicates that I'm straight! |
