Just curious do most people activate the "Hide on looked at me" setting?
What's your reasoning...invokes too many messages/winks to deal with? Or is this needle just getting deeper into the haystack and lost amongst the numbers |

If I don’t stay in stealth mode, guys message asking why I looked and didn’t message them
It’s not a nice conversation to explain I looked and didn’t want to message afterwards
It just saves the same repeated conversations and bruised egos |

I view in Stealth, previously if I checked someone’s profile as they’d looked at me you will sometimes get a message, along the lines ‘did you like what you saw ?’
We all view other people’s profiles for a variety of reasons, I don’t assume if someone has looked at mine it’s because they like me or want to meet. So it’s just easier to stay in Stealth mode.
I’d also like a filter that stops me from being seen online, so I can browse the forums and not get a message because I’m active on the site.

I’ve never had mine on. Learnt that about 10 years ago when I first joined and would get countless messages from guys saying “I see you’ve looked at my profile” then it’s like yeah and yet I still didn’t message you so obviously not someone I wanted to speak to. |

Sometimes without knowing it a guy can look into a profile too many times. Something very innocent but for the person being looked at, can appear to be ‘stalkerish’ so they get blocked. I often look a few times at someone, outside of Stealth it’s me that looks like I’m stalking them

15 today 13 from blokes, one couple and 1 female. But I won’t message them asking them why they didn’t message me. I Leave mine on I’ve nothing to hide. Profiles are there y thy o be looked at. |

I leave mine on as it makes fuck all difference. My profile is as open as it can be and those who wish to engage message me. If I like somebody I send a message. If they don’t reply I take that as a thank you but no thanks. If they reply with the same then I wish them all the best in their endeavours vanilla or otherwise. |
