Are we all back to work yet?

Thankfully, I worked from home pre-Covid and continue to do so.
I do miss popping into the office, or visiting a customer. But if they are all the issues I have, I'm lucky.
The vast majority of our customers seem to have most people, that can, still working from home. |

Same, worked from home on off for awhile, but it was nice going to the office when I needed. Miss it now. |

Carried on working. But from home. They’ve said as long as I’m happy to continue to work from home I can! Other half had 2.5 months of furlough but is back and hard at it!
Just want it all to be over now, in the beginning we used to go out for a walk every day. Now I’m lucky if I leave the house once a week to get shopping. (Note to self; must try harder to exercise!) |

No. The place where I work reopened on the 4th of July, but I currently don't have a job role there. I was meant to be back this past Sunday for training then back proper on Thursday, but food and drink suppliers and the new guidelines for eateries has pushed it back to the backend of October now. |

I am working from home since February, and if the company plans are working, will continue do so at least until January next year. But given the current situation, it will take probably longer until I am able to return back to the office. |

Still working from home. Set myself up an office now. I think a lot of people will end up this way to be honest. |

"I'm back at work. Strange thing is, I'm not allowed to meet other people i know but I'm I'm allowed to work at a place with over 7 thousand people. "
Yeah, where I am we have a work force of around 300. Just like in all the other factories and what about the people who work in the super markets working shoulder to shoulder and mixing with Joe public |

you say strange but its fairly obvious the reason is working puts food on your table meeting with friends doesn’t ... all meetings have risk but some have a reward to make it worth balancing out the risk |

Self employed plaster back at work for a while now and its booming.
Height of covid i had time out as plaster was selling for £50 per bag (normal price £6.98),on the black market, as was very hard to come by as production had stopped. Slowly but surerly the north is catching up with the south in how many pallets get delivered to the merchants. Definatly a north south divide in the distribution of materials. |

"Never stopped and would loved to have worked from home but doubt hospital would let me care for patients in my own house lol"
you say this but its not the dream its illusioned to be ... no separation of work and personal life , no heading home and switching off, and the isolation of it is pretty miserable too |

Worked all the way through in the office. Then bizarrely when restrictions were relaxed I had to work from him for two out of every three weeks.
Don’t like working from home so back in the office. |

Alex is home based always as he's self employed, pretty much business as usual all the way through for him, I was furloughed (non essential retail management) but been back since end of June, just not fun anymore so looking to change career ASAP. |

Agree. I'd much prefer to go to my physical workplace. Online teaching is horrible, trying to manage staff remotely is hard work and the usual team collaboration is stilted and meh. And those are the tiny issues |

i would still take my situation over not working ... i know i am fortunate to have a semi safe job ... but permanent working from home is not what most people signed up for |

I know it puts food on the table and pays the bills but I don't see many people wanting to buy a brand new car during the covid crisis. Measures are put in place to keep safe but not everyone is keeping to the rules and not wearing face masks. To be honest, I see the way they get built everyday and personally wouldn't buy one. |
