Although there's a sort of family history at work, too. My grandad liked cold tea - he'd either drink it hot or leave it for hours to go stone cold and then drink it.
After my aunt got divorced she moved back home for a bit and one night the old chap was in his chair, sipping from his mug all night, and she assumed it was cold tea. It wasn't. It was half a bottle of navy rum....
When he got up to go to bed he face planted straight into the floor and got a three inch round carpet burn on his forehead  |

I must have an iron constitution. Over the summer I had the family round for dinner and had a giant chocolate fudge cake for dessert. That was Sunday, and I finished the last two slices on the Thursday, and largely got away with it |
