Nikka from the barrel. Really interesting, rich, has a really nice sweetness to it too.

Definitely recommend having a go, it's not ridiculous money either.

Oh a pet subject

Smoky peaty -ardbeg uigeadail or corryvreckan

Smooth and rounded - Aberlour 12 yo or a balvenie double wood

Also got a bomore, a lagavulin, a dalmore, glen Goyne, a macallan and a couple of different taliskers

And that’s the ones I can remember in the cupboard

Easy drinking can't go too far wrong with Balvenie doublewood. For a peat fix I like a caol ila. Used to be a big fan of Aberlour A'bunadh but the price of a bottle went mad a few years ago.

It's Welsh whiskey not whisky.. Pendaryn? Hubby likes that.. I'm two years sober in a fortnight but he does like a wee dram now and again.
