We had a jolly day today - trampolining (I watched, its not a skill I possess any more) then lunch out and bowling (I can bowl, but see above re: skill). S scored about 4 strikes in a row and was very pleased about it too. He beat a woman in a wheelchair and a 3yo  |

I have seen the toy Percy Pigs! I've not been out for a few days sadly but I'm hoping soon I can go and buy the PP biscuits. Have you started circling the food yet? That's one of my favourite things to do. |

Oooo nice shout! I've got the molten mountain cheese thing and the brie en croute bookmarked so far!  It's my first Christmas since my fiance and I got together that I've not hosted/he's not been working/we've not been apart so I'm determined to make the most of the peace and chance to do exactly what we want. Soon I'm going to start messaging Babs all the Christmas stuff I see/purchase.
I do have bad news though, the Argos catalogue can't be circled any more, it's not going to be printed.  |

Argos is no more, but Smyths toys have obviously seen a gap in the market and are advertising a huge Christmas brochure on kids telly. I've never heard of Smyths having a brochure before, so I reckon they're trying to capture the Argos market |

Ah Smyths is clearly on it and knows their shit. There's something so satisfying at being able to look at a hard copy in front of you and choosing what to get rather than scrolling through things - when I was younger I used to use the Argos catalogue to plan my dream house. |

It is a sure sign we are getting older when it is the food brochure you circle and not the toys in the Argos catalogue come Christmas
I was salivating over the beef short rib earlier. They do small versions of them normally which are delicious.
Oooo nice shout! I've got the molten mountain cheese thing and the brie en croute bookmarked so far! It's my first Christmas since my fiance and I got together that I've not hosted/he's not been working/we've not been apart so I'm determined to make the most of the peace and chance to do exactly what we want. Soon I'm going to start messaging Babs all the Christmas stuff I see/purchase.
I do have bad news though, the Argos catalogue can't be circled any more, it's not going to be printed.
Argos is no more, but Smyths toys have obviously seen a gap in the market and are advertising a huge Christmas brochure on kids telly. I've never heard of Smyths having a brochure before, so I reckon they're trying to capture the Argos market "

Good evening mate, i very much prefer nights me because i am in no way a morning person plus means i can get more done in the day without booking time off as well |

Ah Smyths is clearly on it and knows their shit. There's something so satisfying at being able to look at a hard copy in front of you and choosing what to get rather than scrolling through things - when I was younger I used to use the Argos catalogue to plan my dream house. "
