Depends who it's to - someone I don't know then no never - someone I know, again it depends - some people occasionally will do them, others might never do them, others still will always do so |

I do them for close friends but its not an all the time thing.
I do have one friend I know who hates them and she gave me a bollocking when I did it just through habit and I wont make that mistake again  |

Sometimes I'm guilty of it. Depends whom I'm chatting with.
What's even worse though is people who have to end every sentence with 'Haha'

If I get a message with them at the end I will reciprocate; if it's someone I haven't messaged before or someone I message 'every now and again' then no; someone I regular message with then yes HaHa LOL Xxx |

Most women who message tend to add an X at the end. But I just take it as being polite and shows how friendly they are. I personally don't add an X to the end of anything I send because I think it makes a guy come across as a bit creepy when it's to a stranger. There is a handful of women that I know where me adding an X is and feels acceptable. Other than that it's only the kids that get an X on the final message of a conversation. |

If I like the person, or am wanting to be friendly or flirty then I will add a kiss to my messages but generally I don't add kisses until I feel more comfortable chatting.
My sign off on forum posts has a kiss because I want to be inclusive to all.

I never used to, now I tend to more often than not.
I then often have to follow up with another message apologising to colleagues/workmen/acquaintances apologising for accidentally adding a x to the end of the previous message   |
