.

Have a double piercing in my left ear, have done since I was 16, currently sporting 2 diamon(tes). So, at 45 is it...

A. Time to get shut

B. Replace with more subtle studs.

C. Replace with a couple of small hoops.

The little red sports car is already on order, as is the overpriced ostentatious designer watch, still reluctant for the loafers with no socks.

Hit me with your guidance ladies, I say ladies because blokes will either be going through the same and be as deluded as I as to the fact they are past it or the younguns have yet to face the dilemma and don't know the troubles of lost youth ahead x

Life is short... live it your way.

I got my first tattoo in my mid 30s, upper ear pierced at 40 and more tattoos over the years too.

I also didn't start dying my hair really vivid colours until my 40th year.

So we're both going through it, or as I like to say, enjoying life x

I don't consider it a midlife crisis though my dad would disagree.

To me, it's about realizing that you no longer really care what other people think. I would rather try something and decide I don't enjoy it than not to do it at all.

I intend to do my best to live life to the full and have lots of memories.

Excellent response

OP Live your life without regrets.... I intend to.

My body is mine and I will be happy if I get to be an old lady with wonderful stories and ink that starts conversations about my life with my great grandchildren
