I was seeing how much they would hurt. I doodled a tiny doodle. It's on my inner wrist, before the inner wrist got really popular with butterflies and names and shizzle. |

"I watched From Dusk Till Dawn and was inspired by tribal tattoos. Now I hate them.
I do tattoo removal if anyone interested though! "
Exactly the same here. 17 and stupid and wanted the same tattoo. Glad the tattooist talked me out of the neck part. Had both arms covered now but was a bastard to cover up |

Very addictive! My first 3 are on my lower back I then got a boyfriend who hated tattoos on a woman so refused to do doggy. I want 2 stars interlocked on my wrist/lower, inner arm as a tribute to my grandparents who passed away and there is a quote that got me through some hard times that I want on my ribs or shoulder blade I can't decide |

"The band H.I.M. They and my tattoo also inspired my username.
Ooohhhh love them! Digital Versital Doom live is so good "
I was gutted, their last uk tour in Manchester was my birthday and was sold out. Always loved seeing them live as a bloke for obvious reasons.
Now planning a couple of leg sleeves. |

"I've always loved tattoos, my first one was for my grandad, we shared a love of blue butterflies."
My most recent tattoo was in memory of my grandad. A song that he loved and that reminds me of him. |

Yeah I was hoping to go with my sister but couldn't get tickets either. Had originally thought of a heartagram for my first tattoo as well funnily enough. How weird |

My first tattoo was inspired by De Niro’s character ‘Max’ in the 1991 version of Cape Fear. I was in awe of the prison tattoos on his chest so I had one done in the same style on my forearm. |

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon |
My first is a star for each of my miscarriages and a moon for the two times it was twins.
Second one I designed when I was 16 and it's to do with my love of cowboys, country music and all that malarkey.
I got my first one this time last year. |

I'm in the process of planning my first.
I had a pretty rough time a few years ago and so I'm thinking about a mum and baby elephants pulling dad elephant out of the shadow of a semi colon.. |

I actually love tribal sleeve on a man. I was 18 and stupid and got my star sign in tribal tattooed on the back of my neck. I still love the look of it, but I'm annoyed I can't possibly connect it with a full back piece as I don't want more tribal |

My parents have a framed picture with a nareative passage describing what I've had tattooed, I would read it and think "That sounds really cool". Over the course of years I guess it got stuck in my head and I had it put to ink. It's a little weathered now though and I would love to have it redone and developed in to a sleeve. |

I was a goth, I also had a fairy obsession.
I drew a goth fairy at 14, had it done at 16, still love it despite its ageing and fading, would have it redone to brighten it up again |

"It's my star sign. But recently they've discovered a new one so I'm no longer a Scorpio "
Its not a recent discovery, the star signs are based on the constellation the sun is 'in' - when viewed from earth- at various times of the year. Because we go all the way around the sun in a year this means the sun airways in a different place relative to the background stars each day at midday, covering 360° of movement. If you divide those 360° into 12 you get 30° for each sign. That division of 12 is arbitrary however and you could pick any number and choose the constellations that suit. The '13 constellation' has been known (and named) for millennium it just happens to make the news every now and then and comes as a surprise to some people. Quite apart from that, due to procession, the alignment of the sun and earth changes to the point that the star signs as calculated by the Greeks (and before them the Babylonians) are all the wrong dates anyway.
Perhaps a tattoo of Sir Isaac Newton to cover your star sign and acknowledge the fact that we no longer need to invoke celestial forces to explain the movements of the stars/planets or attribute supernatural powers to their locations?

"Me and a few mates went to Yarmouth for my 18th , and after a few too many beers my mate dared me that if I get a Tattoo he would pay for it . It's still the only one I have to this day "
Oh dear just the word Yarmouth would make me prob never have another !
But I’d never go anywhere else but my tattooist for my ink !
You could always cover it up with something better ! |

My bro in law didn't want to get tattooed on his own and everyone we was with pussied out so I walked in with him pointed at one I liked and sat with him. It helped him with his anxiety but I now want what I got covered up with something I actually like now. |
