If you just want a room you can't go far wrong with travellodge or Premier Inn.

Hull

Being in the hotel business myself, I suggest looking in the Booking Agency sites for ideas.

However, don't book through these sites, as any hotel linked to them, has to pay the agency, commission on each booking.

Instead, contact the hotel directly as most hotels are desperate for business and re happy to negotiate lower terms to get people in.

I know that in London, in some of the major chain hotels, they're offering rooms at around £25-£30 Minimum per night for a Single, and around £40 for a Double.

Do your homework, it can pay to shop around. But avoid booking through the agencies, as they won't drop the rates for you as that cuts their commission.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I live in London and I'm being sent hotel deals for £30 a night. Take your pick. You can get better than Shagalodge and Prem.
