I think at the end of the day it doesn't matter what website you go on there is always going to be idiots wherever you go you are just going to have to block them  people have blocked me because they don't like my sense of humour  but you just gotta go with the flow |

Would be negligible the difference Imo . The fee is peanuts anyway. Also if people aren’t meeting currently why pay when you still have same level access.
Proper ID verification would be the way to filter out a bulk. Though the site would die if it tried implementing ID verifiable details .
I guess what they could do is limit the abilities to use the site as well as non supporting ones currently .
Maximum 5 messages in 24 hours / no chat room access / no forum access other than viewing No new photo uploads etc

Like I've always said there is idiots everywhere you go this website is cheap to be a member for so many months before it expires. If you go and search for any other websites you are looking at 30-35 £40 and I don't think anyone in their right mind will actually pay those sort of figures so the best thing to do is if an idiot turns up just block them |

It's a tricky balance to strike. I think it's about right for what you get at present.
Maybe a premium level that added extra functionality? Something like only people in your HotList can message you.
People could try to attract your attention with a wink. It means winks would actually be useful...

The assumption with this proposition is that most of the people who should be on here pay and most of the people who shouldn't be on here don't. Unfortunately that is not true, so the idea won't work. |

Use your message filter to stop those who aren't site supporters from mailing you, and those without veris.
Ignore any profile that doesn't have either if it bothers you that much.
And a fiver for upto 2 months isn't really much of a deterant TBH.
