My niece is having a party for her 18th and the discussion of music came up, chatting away I suddenly realized that its the old tunes that will get me up and kicking my heels in a most embarrassing way. Built me up buttercup by the foundations is usually the track that will get me to my feet.

When I DJ'd I could gaurantee to fill the floor at even the most boring of gigs with 'Free - Alright Now' - never failed to get 'em up, and once they were up - keep 'em up with a bit of 'Norman Greenbaum - Spirit in the Sky' follwed by a Nutbush City Limits.
After that - you were on a roll, those who didn't want to get up had gotton over their fear and they were up all night - sorted ! |
