i never burn rice i have a never fail way of cooking it and managed to burn it while cooking for Sir one night i then managed to burn it in the microwave steamer too we gave up after that the only two times ive ever failed to cook rice both in one night

had an epic disaster once,was cooking lasagna for 10 people,everything went well it was all bubblin and cheesy,then i dropped the lot on the kitchen floor,
ok i admit,i scooped it up and served it
nobody was any the wiser |

Years ago, before the kids came along I was working in a local pub one sunday lunch time. Shift finished, girls decided we would go to another pub for a few beers.
Time went fast and I was pretty d*unk, rushed home to make sure sunday roast was ready for the time the other half came home from work.
Peeled the spuds and they were like cubes. Put chicken in oven on high so it would cook quick. Think I had about 30 mins til he walked in. Chicken was black on the outside and raw in the middle.

When i lived with the first guy, i was only young and decided to make chilli, it was in the days you had green grocers. Cause chillis where small i decided to buy lb and cut them up and put them in the chilli. He took a taste before me and thought his head was going to blow off |
