Depends on what you mean by work.
Do they show up on the recipients profile ? Yes they do.
Do they help you make contact with someone? It’s hit and miss, you might find an actually message get your more success as some people see winks as “lazy” |

I only looked at mine the other day and had quite a lot.
I don’t use them to register interest...I would always send a message and I would think if someone was that interested in me they’d send me a message.
If I haven’t got time to send a message, I’d hotlist them and then go back.
You only get one opportunity to make a good first impression and so a wink could be deemed as being lazy... |
